It has been a year and even more than a year that we are in a situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only has this impact on public health, this pandemic has also affected the economic conditions, education, and social life of the Indonesian people.
One of the impacts of the pandemic that is happening around me is social fatigue. Social fatigue is a symptom of declining mental conditions in the wider community, both collectively and individually. This can be seen from the loss of motivation to survive against the pandemic, compliance with the rules, and others. In other words, people feel bored due to a prolonged pandemic so they tend to do something wrong.
As we know, there are many hoaxes circulating during this pandemic. Information that is often inconsistent and unclear triggers people to experience social fatigue. Some other triggers are the emergence of new policies that have an impact on people's lifestyles, doing everything online so that it limits human instincts such as moving, socializing, gathering and meeting other people, and feeling lonely with several phases of social restrictions.
These triggers have resulted in people becoming increasingly skeptical of government policies. So that the public is less responsive to the messages conveyed in public campaigns. Even people are less concerned about health protocols because of saturation.
Of course this is very important because it is related to a person's mental health and also has an impact on a pandemic that will continue for a long time if people feel bored with government rules.
The small thing that I can do is distribute pamphlets that contain what social fatigue is in the local environment and put up some posters in public places that contain ways to deal with social fatigue. That way people can avoid social exhaustion and are more aware of the importance of being mentally healthy during the pandemic. At the same time, to realize the goal of SDGs number 3, namely good health and well-being. This point aims to ensure a healthy life and improve the welfare of the entire population of all ages. People must be physically and mentally healthy and prosperous.

It's true that apart from physical health, we must also pay attention to mental health, especially during a pandemic like now

BalasHapusit's true that in conditions like this often people get bored, get angry more easily so they don't care about this virus anymore. With your concern for that person's feelings, it really helps to get the spirit to live this pandemic.
yep, that's right, in the early days of experiencing a pandemic I felt bored at home but over time I got used to it. anyway, thanks Melda for bringing up this topic
BalasHapusTutur Rahayu_26_12Mipa1_in this pandemic period there are indeed many people who are tired of all the limitations of their activities and can no longer move freely as before and this can indeed make people stress, so with this knowledge sharing, hopefully many people will be able to accept the current conditions and not get bored with the situation this.

BalasHapusI totally agree, because many people are experiencing stress or fatigue from all this, they are definitely not ready to face a new era that is very difficult, therefore we must be able to adapt to the current situation and try to enjoy it. cause physical pain, with this article we can be inspired to continue to think openly and try to accept the current condition.

BalasHapusThe topics covered are great! There are still many people who underestimate a person's mental health, mental health does not seem like a physical problem, but if mental health is ignored, it will be dangerous for the person, for example, feeling suicidal.

BalasHapusyour idea of distributing pamphlets about what social exhaustion is in the neighborhood and putting up some posters in public places that contain ways to overcome social exhaustion are very good and very helpful for people to reduce fatigue and mental health during the pandemic.
